Enter the Detroit Fish, a car which is an absolute oddity in every sense. Designed by Chinese automobile designer Li Guangming, this amphibious car has a garish yellow colour which screams for attention. A product of the Chinese car maker Tang Hua, it is shaped, rather mishaped like two big bubbles arranged one behind the other. Circles abound this car’s design right from its round headlamps to the roundish windows.
The eco-friendly bit of the Detroit Fish lies in it’s 3.5KW electric motor which can propel this car to a decent 45kmph on land. The lithium-ion batteries of this car give it a very respectable range of 150 kilometres. Currently, we have no information about how far, or how fast this car can go in water. And here is the whopper, Tang Hua plans to sell this car to none other than the ‘environmentally conscious’ U.S President George Bush. Only time will tell how successful they are in this endeavour.

This is really suited for a more enjoyable life of the former president. He will love this new amphibious car for a non-stop trip. I think he will spend time to go anywhere he wanted. He has the pension to sustain all his and his family needs. The pension plan gets adjusted now and then for inflation, and certain things get picked out of it here and there. In 1997, the practice of lifetime Secret Service protection was shortened to ten years; so Bill Clinton will be the last to get lifetime protection, which is kind of convenient seeing as he passed the bill. George Bush will be getting a $191,000 a year pension for life, and he has two enormous homes in Texas where he will retire. It seems he won’t need payday loans ever again. To date, a few presidents have refused salary, but none have refused pension.
