Though I don’t find any connection between F1 cars and chess, but still if there exists the slightest of link then I think that has been harnessed by the makers of this unique chess set.
This set from Renault F1 Team Collection is made completely out of the parts of F1 cars. Every element of this set comes from the fast cars. So, all those passionate souls who can do almost anything to grab anything that links itself to F1 cars, cannot miss this at any cost.
The 63.5 cm’s by 63.5 cm’s sized set uses materials like titanium, aircraft grade aluminum, sterling silver and leather. The chessboard is made from the same carbon fiber as used in those Renault F1 cars while the king, queen and the courtiers are made out of the wings cockpits and suspension.
But owning it is no small a deal, it is priced for $36,500.
