H BOX, lest you deduce otherwise, is not a gaming machine. But its raison d’etre is quite similar: entertainment. H BOX is a mobile video screening hall which takes the work of eight talented international video artists on a tour around the world. A collapsible structure of aluminum and Perspex, the H BOX showcases work of Alice Anderson, Yael Bartana, Sebastián Díaz-Morales, Dora García, Judit Kúrtag, Valérie Mréjen, Shahryar Nashat, and Su-Mei Tse. H BOX is easy to assemble and disassemble and is transported to various parts of the world in search of fresh audience. The artists themselves rotate in groups of four at a time as H BOX moves around internationally between museums. The structure, capable of housing ten people at a time, is designed by architect Didier Fiuza Faustino and has been produced by Hermès.
