Apparently, designer Olav Eldoy’s inspiration for this rather unconventional design came from a falling orange peel! Amazing! The philosophy behind the structure and function of the chair is even more interesting. According to the makers, the Peel Chair has the sole purpose of protecting its contents, to embrace them and take care of them. So you get a warm hug while you rest your lazy behind. Could a piece of furniture be more caring?
