After designing the album covers for Rolling Stones, Talking Heads and Lou Reeds and a couple of book covers, graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister decided to do something different. The artist’s interactive exhibition ‘Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far’ presented his special work of art that has left visitors in a quandary to describe what they saw, for before them stood a giant wall made of 7,200 bananas and every fruit that adorned the wall is real. While there are starving people spread across the globe, an artist has taken upon himself the task of rotting 7,200 bananas in the name of art.

Wow! I do not know how to react to this creation. There is a definite bout of sadism in the creation. I mean he could have donated the bananas to the third world countries. Anyways, the work is really great. I first thought them to be fake things.
