In these days of modularizing everything, right from furniture to cars, Seth Rolland comes across as a designer who really knows his way around wood, solid wood. Here is one more of Seth’s delectable looking pieces of furniture, the Stonehenge Bookend. True to it’s name, the Stonehenge Bookend consists of one single block of wood that Seth has painstakingly sculpted. After all the sculpting, you have a very classy bookend with plenty of grooves that convey understated class and very graceful workmanship. To keep the greens happy, Seth has created the entire bookend with harvested ash wood and walnut wood. All this makes the Stonehenge Bookend a very classy looking piece of furniture that will definitely lend it’s charm to your coffee table. The Stonehenge Bookend sells for $240 per pair which certainly is money well spent as you get a striking, handmade object that deserves to be called a work of art.

Wow, design at its best I must say. A wonderful piece of shelf. Really like the cut and the design. The best part is that it is made of wood and not glass or plastic. Good find for sure!
i love the design too. i can understand the paina nd expertise that ahs gone behind the sculptor. but whenever i come across anything made out of wood, i cnat help feeling sorry for the trees that must have been felled for them. my vote would always go for furniture made of glass or other alternative materials.
Though this bookend is made of wood, the wood used for creating it is from sustainable sources specially created for furniture. This means that it will cause minimal damage to the environment though I cannot completely rule out any damage at all.
