What better way to spend your disposable cash than to purchase the ultimate disposable luxury item - paper? Use it once and it’s gone, but you’ll make a serious style statement with your correspondents.
Mrs. John L. Strong, long a paper maker to the stars, offers the world’s most luxe papers hand-engraved by artisans. From holiday cards to personal stationery, it is chic to appreciate the history and tradition of letter-writing, currently threatened by our fast-paced, electronic lifestyles.
Check out this calendar, definitely the most luxe I’ve ever seen. Accessorizing your home or office desk with these papers injects elegance into your work life, and will be the envy of all your colleagues. Now you just need the other ultimate luxury - time - to write a letter by hand.

Wow..This is really cute.o love the design, simple yet lovely..
Anyway, here’s a brief update for car lovers—
’As for why it takes an expensive Lucerne to match the Avalon, the reason is engines. Toyota’s pulling 268 horses out of that V6, leading the class in acceleration with 0-60 in six seconds flat, and the Lucerne needs the 275 horses from its vastly bigger Northstar just to (almost) keep up. Unfortunately, that makes the Lucerne’s the group’s gas guzzler (just 20 MPG even with majority highway time), and its extra 400 pounds make it the fatboy as well. Nor does it have the Avalon’s driving finesse or better-designed seats, and the quality record of the LeSabre and Park Avenue were not reassuring. (The reliable Buick is the Canada-built LaCrosse. Now with its state of the art facilities like that of its Buick Rainier Brake Pads and the like.) With no price advantage, what’s the incentive here?’
